The system is designed to be easily adjustable, modifiable and manageable. Its individual components (HW or SW) have been developed based on modern and proven technologies. Every element is persistent - it has either its own backup power supply or it remembers its state before any loss of power supply so that it can refresh itself automatically.
Used communication is wireless. That is why installation and any reconfiguration is very quick and easy. The communication is, of course, treated against interference or unauthorized access. The reach corresponds to the ZigBee standard - approximately up to 30 meters inside buildings and up to 300 meters in open space. This allows compiling large and functional sys-tems using only a few components.
However, every component minimizes its own energy consumption and electromagnetic smog. The system provides automatic construction of the network and dynamic reconfiguration of the network, which is important in case of failure.
The system consists of central unit, which sends commands and receives different signals, and surrounding satellite switches / meters / sensors, which these commands execute or send their own signals. To one central unit can be connected up to 1000 satellite devices.

Any devices can be connected (for electricity one- or three-phase); in the case of electricity two types of satellites are used: plug into standard outlet, into switching-box on DIN line or with batteries
The system is very openned to other vendors. There can be connected various detectors with relay non-potential output (eg. movement detectors, termostats, smoke detectors, etc.) and any other devices with its own logic which can communicate through given application protocol of the ENcontrol system.
